Integrity

Let us start together by asking the obvious question: What is Integrity? Some may think it is just a word that people use to try and sound intelligent. Many use it in a business setting or in their company slogans. Others may have read about it in one of the thousands of "self help" books available at a bookstore near you. What does this word really mean?

The dictionary definition of the word "Integrity" is: The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, and moral uprightness.

Is this what you thought Integrity meant?

Does this line up with what the Bible says about Integrity? Let’s check this out together. There are many areas in the Bible where God deals with this subject, and has so much to say about how and when we should display Integrity.

Read: Proverbs 10:9, 11:3, 13:6

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”

"Integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.”

“Righteousness guards the person of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.”

The Bible says: Honesty, without compromise. Having guidance.
