The Acts of the Apostles, is Saint Luke's attempt to chronicle the early church and set straight the record on the founding of the church in Jerusalem and its movement into the Greek and Roman world. And as such, it contains within it as much history as any historian of the era has ever written, and the story of the church fathers as they began following the words of Jesus and making disciples of the whole world.
